Xidian Changbian has successfully tested a 400kV converter transformer.

The Chinese firm tested the fifth ±400kV converter transformer for the Baihetan-Zhejiang ±800kV UHV DC transmission line project. Xidian Changbian reported that the transformer passed a full set of routine tests first go.

The testing was witnessed by other officials, and this is the ninth product in this project to have passed the test the first time.

Moving forward, Xidian Changbian seeks to make each UHV project into a high-quality UHV 2.0 project.
