The Klein Insulation Resistance Tester tests insulation resistance up to 4000MΩ at 125V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V DC. Yes, that’s MEGAohms. It also measures up to 1000V AC/DC, and it looks for low resistance and continuity.
The ET600 features automatic ranging using True RMS technology for better accuracy, and for test verification, it conforms to EN61557-1, -2, and -4 specs. It also has a CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V safety rating. A warning alarm and visual indicator let you know when the ET600 detects voltage.
The Klein Insulation Resistance Tester also features a built-in stand so you can use it hands-free. Optionally, you can pick up a magnetic holder so you can hang it on an electrical box. The backlit display shows bar graphs, APO, High Voltage, Max/Min, and Hold icons as well.
The Klein ET600 runs on 6 AA batteries, and it comes with right-angle test leads and heavy-duty alligator clip test leads. You can pick it up for $149.99, and it comes with Klein’s 2-year limited warranty.
